Weekly Classics: The Moody Blues: Knights in White Satin

This is actually a relatively well-known song, and I decided to put this up as the weekly classic after hearing a female cover of the track on the radio. It's a Moody Blues single from the 1967 album, 'Days of Future Passed', which was released as their first concept album, and which also happens to be one of my favourites. It's an endless classic rock masterpiece, from the wonderful sound of the prolonged notes to the short spoken word poem near the six minute mark. While most of today's youth may not know who The Moody Blues are, they certainly made an impression on the music scene, with sixteen studio albums (this being their second) released and over seventy million records sold worldwide. While not even close to say, Pink Floyd and their two hundred million, this band and this song are wonderful, and I eagerly encourage you to check them out if you don't  already know who they are! Have a gander at the track below, Youtube style.
