What a wonderful combination. Air and one half of Beach House. 'Seven Stars' isn't one of those tracks that hits you right from the off. It's a smouldering number, and one that slowly but surely manages to draw you in, wrapping itself around your limbs and mind with smoky tendrils that render you blind; aghast with unanticipated amazement. A countdown at 2.25 acts as an intermission between a dark, drum lead intro and softer female singing. Adding crystal clear samples to surreal sensibilities is risky, but Air apparently cannot go wrong in regards to music! Taken from a forthcoming album 'Le Voyage Dans La Lune' which drops January 6th, I'm intrigued to hear what else French duo Air might throw in! Stream above!
